MEET THE SPEAKERS

Kurt Shoemaker:

Kurt Shoemaker is a Senior Vice President and co-team lead with the Cincinnati Multifamily team. In this role, Mr. Shoemaker focuses exclusively on the sale of multifamily properties throughout the Central Midwest and Kentucky. He has been working in the commercial real estate industry for over 13 years and has sold over 25,000 units, aggregating over $2 billion.

Kurt has a business finance real estate degree from the University of Cincinnati. He is a member of the GCNKAA and GDAA and on the Ambassador Board at Best Point, a non-profit organization dedicated to helping vulnerable children and families through comprehensive education, behavioral, and health services.


Marianne Taylor:

Marianne Taylor is a Senior Associate on CBRE’s OH + LEX Multifamily Team and is a partner with Kurt Shoemaker. She is responsible for listing and selling multifamily apartment complexes, accompanying prospective buyers on property site visits, maintaining current market knowledge, and negotiating contracts. Marianne holds both an Ohio and Kentucky Real Estate Salesperson license, and she is working to achieve her CCIM designation.

She joined CBRE in 2019 after an almost ten-year career at PNC Bank, where she excelled in both commercial real estate underwriting for investment properties and small business relationship management. During her career, Marianne has closed countless investment and owner-occupied commercial real estate dispositions and loans.
