There are four (4) candidates running for four (4) Primary Board seats and three (3) candidates running for two (2) Supplier Partner board seats.

SUPPLIER PARTNER CANDIDATES-

Anna Sexton, with Chadwell Supply, began her career in the multifamily industry in 2016. She currently serves on the board of the GDAA and remains highly engaged with the GCNKAA, CAA, PAA, and NOAA.  She oversees 67 National Partnerships with Property Management companies across OH, MI, NJ, KY, NE, and PA.  Additionally, she chairs the Social Media Committee and previously contributed to Events and Education Committees. Her passion for growth and success of the GDAA is evident, she looks forward to continuing her involvement with the GDAAFAM.

 

Mary Odeh is your Premier Commercial Grounds Maintenance Partner at GroundsPRO. As a seasoned business development specialist Mary brings a wealth of experience and knowledge through her diverse background within the Real Estate Industry, from property Manager to Professional Vendor. As the Dayton Territory Sales Manager for GroundsPRO, Mary prides herself as an active member of the GDAA. Mary strives to be a resource in every interaction by understanding that success is not just about completing tasks but creating an environment where each person thrives and contributes to a collective successful partnership.

 

Ryan Erlewine has worked in the multifamily industry for over 10 years, with consistent involvement in the Greater Dayton Apartment Association (GDAA). He began his journey as a multifamily sales representative with Sherwin-Williams Paint in 2014, transitioning to Sherwin-Williams Flooring in 2019. In 2020, Ryan joined A&B Flooring, where he currently serves as Sales Manager following a promotion in 2023.  In addition to his professional experience, Ryan has actively contributed to the GDAA, having served on the Social Media Committee for a year before joining the Rent Foundation in early 2024. Passionate about growing the association and increasing membership engagement, Ryan is committed to strengthening the impact in the Dayton market by fostering collaboration and creating more opportunities for members to connect, learn, and contribute. He aims to support the GDAA's mission while enhancing its role within the multifamily housing community.

 

As outlined in the GDAA Bylaws Voting is as follows:

  • Absentee or proxy ballots are not permitted.  (This policy is in effect unless the public health situation dictates otherwise. We will keep you updated on any changes that may occur.) 
  • Only members in good standing as appear upon the records of the Association shall be entitled to vote.  Members in good standing shall be defined as those members who hold no delinquent payables to the Association sixty-one (61) days or order.
  • Each member shall be entitled to one vote per $250.00, or portion thereof, of annual membership dues paid, which shall be cast by the duly designated representative.

The Greater Dayton Apartment Association will hold its annual elections for the Board of Directors at the Annual Meeting.

  • Voting will also take place for bylaw changes.
