Bill Willis has been representing Landlords for over 30 years. This training provides practical, landlord perspective to Fair Housing… with a sense of humor! Participants will learn the basics as well as discuss “Hot Topics” such as the age of occupant, occupancy standards, disparate impact, reasonable accommodations/ “Certa Pet”, use of the proper verifications, design and construction issues, hoarding, direct threat and more. The interactive presentation allows participants to anonymously respond to questions and scenarios that managers to maintenance experience in their day to day activities.
Bio: Bill Willis Jr. represents and litigates for developers, residential and commercial management companies, construction firms, sellers, buyers, and lenders involved in the real estate industry. Mr. Willis has over 30 years of experience representing landlords. Mr. Willis currently serves on the Legislative Committee for the Columbus, and Ohio Apartment Associations.
